Unpacking the Asia Mobiliti drama
Of conflict claims, tech and a state public transport project.
I was thinking of a punny headline but somehow it just avoided me this time. Oh well, I’ll mobilise my creative juices for a future post.

Ramachandran Muniandy is in the spotlight. He is the founder of mobility services provider Asia Mobiliti and the husband of Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh.
That combo has been landing him some press coverage. Last week, X user @RakyatAduan flagged a project between Ramachandran’s Asia Mobiliti and the Selangor government signed in October last year.
The post went viral and took up the weekend news flow, forcing a reply from the state government and Asia Mobiliti as they had to explain how a company closely linked to a minister could be given the project.
