This one’s a natural follow-up since the last brief mentioned Aminul Islam Md Nor, the controversial Bestinet founder who also controls G3 Global.

For years, two Bursa-listed tech firms — G3 Global and Green Packet — shared a single driving force: Puan Chan Cheong, better known as CC Puan.

He was once Malaysia’s poster boy for tech entrepreneurship, but slipped under the radar after being declared bankrupt in 2023.

But now he’s resurfacing in close-knit tech circles.
